These photographs were taken in the Czech Republic in 2005. They ended up being part of my first-ever public solo exhibition at the Concourse Gallery of the Kitchener Public Library in 2007.

Artist Statement:
When travelling through the Czech Republic, the rich architectural heritage of the country becomes evident. This heritage has, to a large extent, been preserved throughout the ages. enduring wars and times of oppression. It is common to find structures that have not fundamentally changed in hundreds of years.

The glimpse into the past that these architectural monuments allow has inspired these photographs.

This series of photographs was taken in 2005.
